Q. What is the “Rent With Us” service?

A.

"Rent With Us" is a luxury consignment service by RSVP. Stuck with too many dresses? You can apply to be our partner by clicking on Rent With Us and by submitting your gowns and dresses to our studio. "Rent With Us" and we'll help you find the perfect match for your pre-loved eveningwear. Earn 20% of the total rental rental fee each time one of your pieces is rented out!

Q. How do I submit my pre-loved dresses that I’m interested in renting out?

A.

You can click "here" on tool bar on the very top of this page and begin to submit your dresses. It's a short step-by-step process where you will need to write a quick description alongside a photo of each dress or gown. You'll hear back from us once your pieces have been confirmed. Once approved. drop everything off at our studio and we'll take care of the rest!

Q. Do you buy pre-loved dresses?

A.

No. "Rent With Us" only works on a consignment basis.

Q. I have a lot of dresses that need love. What do you usually look for in a garment?

A.

"Rent With Us" is open to receive a wide range of eveningwear. We accept cocktail dresses, evening gowns and tailored separates with pleasure. Since we can only accommodate so much pre-loved pieces in our studio, your submissions will undergo a rigorous approval process to determine match-ability for your pieces.

Q. What if my body type is unique, should I alter the dress to fit a regular size?

A.

No need! We embrace all shapes and sizes!

Q. Do the gowns have to be designer?

A.

No, they do not. But unfortunately, we will not accept eveningwear from fast fashion brands.

Q. Do I need to dry clean my gowns before I drop them off?

A.

Yes! Dry cleaning before drop off is a pre-requisite for "Rent With Us". If we find that an item is not up to our cleanliness standard, we can either return the dress to you for dry cleaning or charge a PHP 500 pesos fee per item. Charges will be deducted from your 20% rental commissions.

 

Q. Will my dresses remain in good condition after they are rented ?

A.

Wear your dresses with love before submitting them to “Rent With Us”. Please expect wear and tear on your approved pre-loved pieces as we cannot guarantee they will be in the same condition after a few rental cycles.

Q. Can I find my own matches for the dresses?

A.

We would appreciate sharing our services with your own network of contacts and we'll be happy to take care of their fittings. However, we cannot guarantee your dress will be rented by your referral.

Q. Can I control or choose who rents my dresses?

A.

Once you submit your dresses to "Rent With Us", you will have to agree to an all-inclusive system.

Q. Will I be notified when people rent my dress?

A.

Absolutely! At the end of each month, we will provide a comprehensive summary of your rentals and their respective commissions. You can access all of this information by signing into your account and checking your “my dresses” dashboard.

Q. What happens when someone damages my dress and its’ irreparable?

A.

RSVP sets a retail price for each of your submitted dresses. When a customer rents your piece from RSVP, they agree to pay the full retail price in the event that the item is returned with irreversible damages. You will receive a settlement fee in your account.

Q. What happens in the event that my dress is lost by one of RSVP’s customers?

A.

RSVP sets a retail price for each of your submitted dresses. In the event of a lost item, the customer agrees to pay the full retail price. You will receive a settlement fee in your account.

Q. Can I get my dress back?

A.

Absolutely! Notify us two weeks in advance so we can make sure your dress is dry cleaned and in the studio. Should your dress have been reserved in advance for the same time period, we cannot guarantee an immediate return. Our "Rent With Us" priority will always be with our reservation or rental. 

Q. Why were some of my dresses not approved?

A.

Our team selects eveningwear based on a combination of garment conditions and market conditions. But most notably, our main criteria for approval is finding dresses "Rent With Us" will be able to find matches for.

Q. How do you determine the rental fees?

A.

Our rental fees depend on a combination of garment conditions, market trends, designer and specialty of your submitted dress. Simple dresses will be priced lower and more specialized gowns with embroidery, beadwork and finer fabrics will be priced higher.

Q. How much of the rental fee do I earn?

A.

You earn 20% of the rental fee each time one of your dresses is rented out.

Q. How do I receive my cut of the rental fees?

A.

 We will coordinate payments with you on a monthly basis and directly deposit your receivables into your account. You'll find summaries of your receivables on your "my dresses" dashboard.

Q. What happens if my items do not get rented?

A.

If your item remains dormant for six months to a year, we will be returning your pieces. Our team may offer to extend housing your dormant pieces on a case-to-case basis.

Q. How do I rent a dress?

A.

You can click "here" and schedule an appointment at our studio.  The RSVP experience begins with a fitting consultation with our in-house team of stylists.

 

We try to keep our service personal and customized from client to client. Help us help you find the perfect dress for any event!

Q. How much does it cost to rent?

A.

RSVP rental fees vary per look depending on how specialized the dress is. The rental fees begin at PHP 4,000. 

Q. Can you send me a pricelist?

A.

No. We currently do not send prices via e-mail or mobile, but RSVP rentals begin at PHP4,000.

Q. Can you send me a photo catalog of your pieces?

A.

No. In the interest of non-overexposure and client confidentiality, we do not provide photos or catalogs via e-mail or mobile. Viewing is exclusively available at our studio. We want to preserve the "brand new" look when you rent.

Q. Where is the studio?

A.

We are located in Joya Building Rockwell Center, Makati (Same building as Pancake House, Santi’s). You will receive our studio’s exact address upon confirmation of your appointment.

 

 

Q. How long is an appointment?

A.

The duration of each fitting depends on each client's need. We can accommodate an appointment from 30 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes.

Q. What do I need to bring?

A.

We recommend you bring your intended shoes, accessories and intimates for the event. Shapewear is a plus!

Q. When is the best time to come for my fitting?

A.

We recommend scheduling your appointment two weeks before your event to get the best options available from RSVP and to allot enough time for length alterations.

Q. Can I bring a friend?

A.

Absolutely! We want your experience to be as comfortable and fun as possible.

Q. Do you accommodate group fittings?

A.

Yes! But our recommendation is to book separate fittings to ensure you have the best RSVP experience possible. 

Q. How do I pay for my rental?

A.

Payments, inclusive of reservation deposit and rental fee, must be made in advance of the rental release. We currently accept cash and/or bank deposits to our BPI Account.

Q. Once paid and confirmed, how do I get my dress?

A.

You can take your rental home up to seven days in advance of your event. If your fitting appointment is within seven days of your event – and we found the perfect fit, feel free to go home with your rental. If your fitting appointment exceeds seven days before your event – you can choose to pick up your rental from our studio up to seven days before your event.

Q. Can I reserve a dress?

A.

Absolutely! You will need to pay a reservation deposit to confirm a dress ahead of time. Reservation deposits, however, are non-refundable. 

Q. Can I alter the dress?

A.

No. We do not allow any alternations on our dresses but we do offer up to one reversible hem adjustment. All length adjustments must be made within 2 weeks of your event. We do not allow minor repairs or alterations outside of our studio.

Q. Do I have to dry clean my dress?

A.

No. It's an easy goodbye after every rental — all you have to do is return your dress and we'll handle the dry cleaning. 

Q. How do I return the rental?

A.

Please drop off your dress at our studio no more than 48 hours (two days) after your event.

Q. What happens if I damage or stain the dress?

A.

We understand that some minor stains or wear and tear is inevitable. However, if an RSVP rental has been damaged beyond repair while in your possession, the client will have to pay the set retail price of the piece as stated in our Terms and Conditions.

Q. What if there were damages before I rented the dress?

A.

Don’t worry! The RSVP team thoroughly inspects and photographs all existing damages in advance of each rental.
